Orsey Wins 3rd Vice President and Full Results from the ISBA Election

Dennis OrseyDennis J. Orsey won the race for third vice-president of the Illinois Bar Association, and Julie A. Johnson and Shawn Kasserman won Cook County seats on the Board of Governors. Alisha Biesinger won the race for the Under Age 37 Outside Cook County seat on the Board, and Anna P. Krolikowska and Sarah M. LeRose won the seats for Under Age 37 Cook County.

abysmally sad that so few members voted for president. under 4000 of us bothered to choose the next president. there are over 30k of us in the isba.

why is it that so few vote??

Don't have a good answer to a good question. When I tell non-lawyer friends about the incredibly low turnout of lawyers who don't have to leave their desks to vote for their leadership, they find it incredible.

Although the ISBA is a great organization; it is indeed sad that the vast majority of membership are apothetic.
