Women Everywhere: Partners in service project

Do you want to help others, but have trouble finding the time? WE have the opportunity for you! The ISBA's Standing Committee on Women and the Law and the Standing Committee on Racial and Ethnic Minorities and the law will help support the WOMEN EVERYWHERE project. The project is seeking volunteers to spend part or all of June 11, 2010, to attend pre-assigned community service agencies dedicated to helping women and children. WOMEN EVERYWHERE direct service activities include gardening, painting, building, and cleaning. Legal education projects include presenting topical seminars and workshops, or providing job training information. Both male and female friends of the legal community are invited to join the volunteer effort. WOMEN EVERYWHERE is an annual volunteer project that provides direct services to women and children in need through community service at agencies.
