Holzwarth reappointed to Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance

Roberta HolzwarthOn May 13, 2015, Holmstrom & Kennedy attorney Roberta Holzwarth was reappointed to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance. The Office of Compliance is an independent agency in the Legislative Branch of the United States government. It administers and enforces the Congressional Accountability Act, which applies employment and workplace laws to the United States Congress and its Legislative Branch agencies, requiring them to follow many of the same laws applied to the private and public sectors.The Office of Compliance has a five-member, non-partisan Board of Directors that is jointly appointed by the majority and minority leaders of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The members of the Board of Directors come from across the United States and are chosen for their expertise in employment and labor law.  Ms. Holzwarth has served on the Board since May of 2000.
