The law firm of HolmstromKennedyPC is pleased to announce that J. Joseph McCoy and Jocelyn L. Koch have become shareholders in the firm.

J. Joseph McCoy has represented dozens of companies in connection with business acquisitions and sales, providing counsel on all aspects of the transaction from negotiation to closing. Joe advises clients regarding business organization, governance, management, and growth. In addition to his work on business acquisitions and sales, Joe also has significant experience working with companies on intellectual property and privacy law issues, including advising health care providers on HIPAA and state privacy law compliance, as well as registering, managing, and enforcing trademarks and copyrights for his clients.

Jocelyn L. Koch has represented clients in state and federal courts in civil litigation, appeals, and arbitration proceedings, as well as before the United States Bankruptcy Court. She has experience in all levels of civil litigation including partnership disputes, breach of contract actions, shareholder litigation, debt enforcement actions, small claims disputes, and business tort actions as well as actions commenced pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code. In her bankruptcy practice, Jocelyn represents financial institutions and other creditors’ interests in restructuring and insolvency situations, as well as representing both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy litigation, trials, and appeals to both the United States District Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Jocelyn also currently serves on the Bankruptcy Court Liaison Committee for the Northern District of Illinois.

We are further pleased to recognize our newest associate, Allison M. Huntley.

Allison M. Huntley received her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University in 2011. Allison has become a valuable addition to our Bankruptcy & Workouts and Commercial Litigation Groups. She advocates for businesses and individuals in contract disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, and other commercial matters.
